Help us Raise $15,000 in 15 Days!
United Way of Addison County is pleased to announce a matching challenge beginning on April 1, 2021! Three anonymous donors have generously challenged us to raise $15,000 in 15 days, promising to match, dollar-for-dollar, all gifts made in that time period (up to $15,000). That means your gift to UWAC by April 15th will be doubled!
While there has been a tremendous amount of state and federal relief funding, our partners have expressed how helpful having local philanthropic support has been over the past year. UWAC’s support has allowed them to respond to some of the most challenging situations they’ve faced and purchase necessary supplies/equipment not covered by other funding sources. Looking ahead, we know that as relief funds change (return to more “normal” restrictions”), local philanthropic dollars will be even more important. Our partners anticipate the increased number and complexity of people they serve to continue to be a strain on their budgets well after relief funds are gone.
