Donate to Provide Backpacks & School Supplies to Kids Who Need a Helping Hand

Back-to-School time is easier for some than others, especially when it comes to purchasing necessary (but expensive) school supplies. Our mission at United Way is to make sure the entire community is set up for success in every area that determines our residents’ overall well-being, and that includes alleviating the financial strain of preparing our children to learn.

Our goal this year is to purchase and stuff 300 new backpacks with notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, binders, folders and rulers, and distibute them to local kids who need a helping hand. These are children who may be in foster care, may be homeless or whose parents simply struggle to buy basic necessities. Let's help these kids start the school year off on the right foot!
